April is Black Women’s History Month

Did You Know?… April is International Black Women’s History Month! Established in 2016 in the city of Atlanta to uplift and support the achievements of Black and minority women, and to build understanding and awareness of the contributions of Black women to the world.
Black women have always been the backbone of society, empowering our neighbourhoods with strength despite circumstances that challenge our Blackness. The sisterhood between Black women continues to grow tighter and so does our village at CEIU and PSAC.
